The Cryogenic Delusion: Stop Trying to Freeze the Cloud

Let's brutally murder a myth right now: Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) is not going to save standard commercial data centers. Initially, cryogenic hype had VCs throwing capital at "open-loop" startup tech, believing they could just dump -196°C fluid across an Amazon server farm and call it a day.

The Brutal Mathematics

This thesis dissolves the second you look at the economics. Cooling a standard AI rack with an open-loop LN2 system requires consuming liquid faster than an industrial chemical plant can manufacture it.

Nobody on earth is paying $1.6M in recurring OPEX to freeze an AWS pod. If you pitch cryogenic AI as a universal liquid cooling replacement, you lose all investor credibility instantly.

"We violently severed our R&D hub from commercial hyperscale fantasies. Cryogenics is not for the masses. It is for the elite."
